With the win, Jones County advances its record to 13-14 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to McDonough (McDonough, GA) to play the Warhawks in a 4A Area 2 challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a record of 4-21.

Next, the Cougars play the Gatewood Gators (Eatonton, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 29. Piedmont Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Putnam County (Eatonton, GA).
