The Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) volleyball knocked off the host Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Sanford for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 30.

With the loss, Lake Region drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Lakers host Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME) to clash with the Trojans in a Class C match on Saturday, September 27. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 3-4. Mount Desert Island lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME)
