Fans at Thursday's league contest between the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) and the visiting Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats (Washburn, IL), saw St. Bede's volleyball squad nudge Lowpoint-Washburn by a score of 2-1.

With the win, St. Bede improves its record to 13-8 on the season. The Bruins host Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 8-9.

The Wildcats now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roanoke-Benson for a Tri-County battle on Thursday, October 2.
