The Mt. Zion Braves smashed the host Richland County Tigers soccer squad by a margin of 7-1 in Monday's non-league match.
The Braves now sport a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Taylorville for a Apollo match on Tuesday, September 27. Mt. Zion will encounter a Tornadoes squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 3-12.
With the loss, Richland County drops to 6-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Salem (Salem, IL) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 28. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 8-6. Salem won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Altamont (Altamont, IL)
