The Bellevue West Thunderbirds softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Lincoln Northwest Falcons to 5 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Bellevue West moves its record to 11-13 on the year. The Thunderbirds host Burke (Omaha, NE) to clash with the Bulldogs in a A District game on Tuesday, September 27. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 5-16. Burke lost 7-3 in their recent non-league game against Seward (Seward, NE)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 29. Lincoln Northwest will attempt to move on its 1-19 season record. The Rockets come into the game with a 9-20 record after their 8-0 league win over Bryan (Omaha, NE).
