The Miller County Pirates softball team (Colquitt, GA), was routed 9-5 in Monday's non-league test with the host Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA)

Coming up next, the Knights clash with the Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA) in a GIAA 3AAA test, on Tuesday, September 27. Deerfield-Windsor will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Valiants come into the test with a 7-3 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA).

The Pirates (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA). The Red Devils come into the 1A D-II Region 1 test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Randolph-Clay was routed by Baconton Charter (Baconton, GA), 16-0, in a league test.
