The Amphitheater Panthers volleyball team (Tucson, AZ), was dropped 3-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Safford Bulldogs (Safford, AZ)

The Bulldogs (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Catalina (Tucson, AZ). The Trojans enter the 3A - South challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Catalina was dropped by San Miguel (Tucson, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Douglas Bulldogs (Douglas, AZ) in a 4A - Gila challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. Amphitheater will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Catalina (Tucson, AZ).
