West Virginia High School Volleyball - Philip Barbour over Buckhannon-Upshur

September 26, 2022: Buckhannon, WV 26201

The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) and the host Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV), saw Philip Barbour's volleyball squad beat Buckhannon-Upshur by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Philip Barbour upgrades its record to 23-1 on the year. The Colts travel to Preston (Kingwood, WV) to play the Knights in a Big Ten bout on Monday, September 26. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-7.

The Buccaneers now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Elkins for a Big Ten bout on Tuesday, October 4. Buckhannon-Upshur will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 9-11.
