The Carter Green Hornets volleyball team (Strawberry Plains, TN), went down 3-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Sevier County Smoky Bears (Sevierville, TN)

The Smoky Bears (3-11) will now prepare for their challenge against South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN). The Cherokees enter the non-league challenge with a 0-23 record. In their last challenge, South-Doyle went down by Tellico Plains (Tellico Plains, TN), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Green Hornets encounter the Cumberland County Jets (Crossville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 29. Carter will attempt to move on its 10-10 season record. The Jets enter the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 3-1 league loss to Upperman (Baxter, TN).
