Illinois High School Volleyball - Salt Fork over Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley

Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Storm clash with the Cissna Park Timberwolves (Cissna Park, IL) in a Vermilion Valley match, on Tuesday, September 27. Salt Fork will attempt to advance on its 14-2 season record. The Timberwolves come into the match with a 20-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over De La Salle (Chicago, IL).

With the loss, Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley drops to 3-13 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Tremont (Tremont, IL) to clash with the Turks in a Heart of Illinois match on Tuesday, September 27. The Turks come into the match with a record of 12-3. Tremont won 2-0 in their recent league match against Heyworth (Heyworth, IL)
