The Savannah Country Day Hornets (Savannah, GA) volleyball overcame the visiting Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA), 2-0 in Monday's league outing.
With the win, Savannah Country Day upgrades its record to 10-14 on the year. The Hornets host John Paul II (Ridgeland, SC) to face the Golden Warrriors in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 27. The Golden Warrriors go into the outing with a record of 22-4. John Paul II won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Hilton Head Prep (Hilton Head Island, SC)
The Rebels now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they travel to New Hampstead for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 13.
