The St. Mary's Knights volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Le Sueur-Henderson Giants to 2 in the Knights non-league victory on Monday.
The Knights now have a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sleepy Eye for a Tomahawk game on Thursday, September 29. St. Mary's will meet a Indians team coming off a 3-0 league win over Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Indians record now stands at 8-1.
The Giants (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN). The Buccaneers enter the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Waterville-Elysian-Morristown was nudged by Concordia Academy (Roseville, MN), 2-0, in a non-league game.
