In Tuesday's non-league game, the Parkland Trojans (Allentown, PA) football team knocked off the visiting Allentown Central Catholic Vikings (Allentown, PA), by a score of 44-20.
The Trojans (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Whitehall (Whitehall, PA). The Zephyrs come into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Whitehall toppled Freedom (Bethlehem, PA), 20-12, in a non-league game.
The Vikings now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Nazareth Area for a non-league game on Monday, October 2. Allentown Central Catholic will battle a Blue Eagles team coming off a 44-6 non-league loss to Parkland (Allentown, PA). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
