In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Cleveland Storm football squad scored a close 35-28 victory over the Volcano Vista Hawks.
In their next game, the Storm clash with the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 5. Cleveland will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record.
The Hawks (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars enter the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Cibola was nudged by Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 52-14, in a non-league match.
