New Mexico High School Volleyball - St. Pius X can't hold off Valley

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Valley Vikings volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the St. Pius X Sartans.
The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Valencia was edged by Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Sartans clash with the Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 3. St. Pius X will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record.
