In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Sparrows Point Pointers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Catonsville Comets.
The Pointers (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Northeast (Pasadena, MD). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Northeast was nudged by Old Mill (Millersville, MD), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Comets (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Perry Hall (Baltimore, MD). The Gators come into the Baltimore County 4A/3A battle with a 0-2 record.
