The Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) football edged the visiting Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM), 58-52 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers face the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, October 2. Los Alamos will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 0-5 record after their 34-8 non-league loss to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM).
The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Pojoaque Valley was nudged by Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM), 49-18, in a non-league bout.
