The Highland Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Gallup Bengals to 1 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manzano for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 27. Highland will meet a Monarchs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 1-3.
The Bengals (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Socorro was nudged by Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
