The Valley Vikings volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting St. Pius X Sartans to 1 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Vikings now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valencia for a non-league game on Thursday, September 28. Valley will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-1.
The Sartans (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers enter the non-league game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Albuquerque Academy held off Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
