In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs soccer squad scored a close 4-1 triumph over the New Palestine Dragons.
The Grizzly Cubs (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Plainfield (Plainfield, IN). The Quakers come into the Mid-State battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Plainfield nudged Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Dragons (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN). The Arabians come into the Hoosier Heritage battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Pendleton Heights nudged Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN), 7-0, in a league battle.
