With the triumph, Pilot Grove moves its record to 4-7 on the year. The Tigers host New Franklin (New Franklin, MO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Class 1 District 6 game on Thursday, September 28. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 5-10. New Franklin won 7-5 in their recent non-league game against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, MO)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Meadville Eagles (Meadville, MO) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 29. Madison will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 6-12 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, MO).
