The Burke Cougars topped the host Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Boyd County Spartans (Spencer, NE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 28. Burke will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 4-16 record after their 2-0 league win over Niobrara/Verdigre (Niobrara, NE).

With the loss, Tripp-Delmont/Armour moves to 3-6 on the year. The Nighthawks host Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD) to battle the Jaguars in a B Region 5 contest on Thursday, September 28. The Jaguars go into the contest with a record of 3-15. Corsica/Stickney lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD)
