The Indian River Braves volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Deep Creek Hornets to 2 in the Braves league victory on Tuesday.

The Braves now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King's Fork for a Southeastern game on Thursday, September 28. Indian River will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-8.

The Hornets (3-8) will now prepare for their game against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks enter the Southeastern game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Hickory nipped Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
