The Twin Cedars Sabers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Diagonal Maroons to 0 in the Sabers league victory on Tuesday.
The Sabers now have a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Melcher-Dallas for a Bluegrass game on Thursday, September 28. Twin Cedars will meet a Saints team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA). The Saints record now stands at 2-10.
The Maroons (0-17) will now prepare for their game against Murray (Murray, IA). The Mustangs enter the Bluegrass game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Murray dropped by Central Decatur (Leon, IA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
