The Falcons (2-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Mankato East (Mankato, MN). The Cougars enter the Big 9 challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Mankato East defeated Owatonna (Owatonna, MN), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Winhawks encounter the Mayo Spartans (Rochester, MN) in a Big 9 challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Winona will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Austin (Austin, MN).
