The Stallions come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Christian Academy (Myrtle Beach, SC).

With the loss, Marlboro Academy drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Dragons host Christ the Cornerstone Academy (Laurinburg, NC) to battle the Defenders in a non-league contest on Friday, October 6. The Defenders come into the contest with a record of 11-1.
