The Gardiner Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Gray-New Gloucester Patriots to 0 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Messalonskee for a Class B game on Friday, September 29. Gardiner will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Cony (Augusta, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 8-0.
The Patriots (6-2) will now prepare for their game against York (York, ME). The Wildcats enter the Class B game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, York dropped by Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME), 3-2, in a league game.
