South Carolina High School Volleyball - Westminster Catawba Christian tips Gaston Christian

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Westminster Catawba Christian Indians (Rock Hill, SC) and the visiting Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC), saw Westminster Catawba Christian's volleyball squad nip Gaston Christian by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Westminster Catawba Christian upgrades its record to 11-9 on the year. The Indians host Arborbrook Christian Academy (Matthews, NC) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Monday, October 2. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-8.

The Eagles now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Northside Christian Academy for a NCISAA Metrolina bout on Monday, October 2. Gaston Christian will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-7.
