Illinois High School Volleyball - Hoopeston over Schlarman

In Tuesday's league contest, the Hoopeston Cornjerkers (Hoopeston, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the host Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Cornjerkers battle the Cissna Park Timberwolves (Cissna Park, IL) in a Vermilion Valley contest, on Thursday, September 28. Hoopeston will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Timberwolves go into the contest with a 20-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL).

With the loss, Schlarman moves to 1-12 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to Chrisman (Chrisman, IL) to battle the Cardinals in a Vermilion Valley contest on Thursday, September 28. The Cardinals go into the contest with a record of 13-9. Chrisman won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Martinsville (Martinsville, IL)
