Iowa High School Volleyball - Keota can't hold off WACO

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting WACO Warriors volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Keota Eagles.

The Warriors (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Wapello (Wapello, IA). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 16-12 record. In their last battle, Wapello was edged by West Burlington (West Burlington, IA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar battle, on Thursday, September 28. Keota will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Tigerhawks come into the battle with a 3-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA).
