The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sunset (Miami, FL). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Sunset defeated South Dade (Homestead, FL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vipers encounter the MAST Academy Makos (Key Biscayne, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 27. Varela will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Makos enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Coral Reef (Miami, FL).
