In Tuesday's league battle, the host Spurger Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Leggett Pirates.
The Pirates (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Chester (Chester, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the 1A Region IV District 26 battle with a 18-9 record. In their last battle, Chester defeated High Island (High Island, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Pirates encounter the Burkeville Mustangs (Burkeville, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 26 battle, on Friday, September 29. Leggett will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 7-12 record after their 3-1 league loss to Goodrich (Goodrich, TX).
