In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA) volleyball squad nudged the host Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA), by a margin of 3-2.
Next up, the Lions face the Marquette Mohawks (Bellevue, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 28. Lisbon will attempt to better on its 20-4 season record. The Mohawks go into the contest with a 2-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, IA).
With the loss, Regina moves to 15-7 on the year. The Regals travel to Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA) to face the Golden Hawks in a River Valley South contest on Thursday, October 5. The Golden Hawks go into the contest with a record of 19-2.
