Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Sandhills Valley Mavericks (Stapleton, NE), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Plainsmen clash with the Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 28. Perkins County will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 9-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Wiggins (Wiggins, CO).

With the loss, Sandhills Valley drops to 1-13 on the campaign. The Mavericks host South Loup (Arnold, NE) to clash with the in a non-league match on Thursday, September 28. The come into the match with a record of 7-10. South Loup lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE)
