Colorado High School Volleyball - Rocky Ford overwhelmed by Rye

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Rye Thunderbolts volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Rocky Ford Meloneers.

The Thunderbolts (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Swink (Swink, CO). The Lions come into the 2A/1A Santa Fe battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Swink went down by Hoehne (Hoehne, CO), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Meloneers encounter the Las Animas Trojans (Las Animas, CO) in a 2A/1A Santa Fe battle, on Saturday, September 30. Rocky Ford will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Trojans enter the test with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Walsenburg (Walsenburg, CO).
