In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks (Grainfield, KS) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Wray Eagles (Wray, CO), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Thunderhawks battle the Colby Eagles (Colby, KS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 30. Wheatland-Grinnell will attempt to better on its 17-4 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 0-0 non-league Cimarron (Cimarron, KS).

With the loss, Wray moves to 3-10 on the year. The Eagles travel to Holyoke (Holyoke, CO) to battle the Dragons in a 2A/1A Lower Platte contest on Friday, September 29. The Dragons go into the contest with a record of 6-9. Holyoke won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Caliche (Iliff, CO)
