In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Indian River Braves volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Nansemond River Warriors.
The Braves (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodside (Newport News, VA). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Woodside was beaten by Hampton (Hampton, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Warriors meet the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Nansemond River will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
