The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE) and the visiting Arlington Eagles (Arlington, NE), witnessed Aquinas's football squad topple Arlington by a tally of 20-12.

The Monarchs (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Bergan (Fremont, NE). The Knights enter the C2 District 2 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Bergan was outscored by Yutan (Yutan, NE), 7-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the North Bend Central Tigers (North Bend, NE) in a C2 District 2 contest, on Friday, October 4. Arlington will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
