The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Citronelle Wildcats (Citronelle, AL) and the host Bryant Hurricanes (Irvington, AL), witnessed Citronelle's football squad knock off Bryant by a tally of 29-6.

The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against UMS-Wright Prep (Mobile, AL). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region 1 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, UMS-Wright Prep was toppled by T.R. Miller (Brewton, AL), 28-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Hurricanes battle the Mary G. Montgomery Vikings (Semmes, AL) in a 7A Region 1 contest, on Thursday, October 3. Bryant will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 42-0 non-league win over Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL).
