The Bunn Wildcats football team (Bunn, NC), was crushed 56-6 in Thursday's league bout with the visiting Northern Nash Knights (Rocky Mount, NC)

With the win, Northern Nash advances its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a 2A/3A Big East test on Friday, October 4. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 5-1. Roanoke Rapids lost 54-7 in their recent league test against Southern Nash (Bailey, NC)

With the defeat, Bunn drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Franklinton (Franklinton, NC) to clash with the Rams in a 2A/3A Big East test on Friday, October 4. The Rams come into the test with a record of 1-5. Franklinton lost 42-0 in their recent league test against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC)
