California High School Football - Del Mar sneaks past Gilroy

The Del Mar Dons football squad scored 14 points and limited the host Gilroy Mustangs to 12 in the Dons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Dons now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Prospect for a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. Del Mar will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 27-20 non-league loss to Independence (San Jose, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Gilroy drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Independence (San Jose, CA) to meet the 76ers in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The 76ers come into the test with a record of 3-1. Independence won 27-20 in their recent non-league test against Prospect (Saratoga, CA)
