North Carolina High School Football - Northwest Guilford crushed by Grimsley

The Grimsley Whirlies walloped the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings football team by a score of 47-7 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Whirlies play the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A challenge, on Friday, October 4. Grimsley will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 43-20 league win over Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC).

The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Page (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates go into the Metro 4A challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Page bounced Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC), 30-6, in a league challenge.
