The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY) and the visiting Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY), witnessed Hopkins County Central's football squad knock off Webster County by a tally of 29-0.

The Storm (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against McLean County (Calhoun, KY). The Cougars enter the 3A District 1 contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, McLean County was toppled by Union County (Morganfield, KY), 14-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Trojans battle the Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY) in a 3A District 1 contest, on Thursday, October 3. Webster County will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Hornets enter the contest with a 6-0 record after their 64-19 league win over Trigg County (Cadiz, KY).
