North Carolina High School Football - Northern Guilford holds off Southeast Guilford

September 26, 2024: Greensboro, NC 27406

The Northern Guilford Nighthawks football squad scored 6 points and limited the host Southeast Guilford Falcons to 0 in the Nighthawks league triumph on Thursday.

The Nighthawks now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Southwest Guilford for a Metro 4A test on Friday, October 4. Northern Guilford will clash with a Cowboys squad coming off a 43-20 league loss to Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Southeast Guilford drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a Metro 4A test on Friday, October 4. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-3. Ragsdale lost 30-6 in their recent league test against Page (Greensboro, NC)
