North Carolina High School Football - Northwest Halifax overwhelmed by Wilson Prep

September 26, 2024: Wilson, NC 27896

In Thursday's league game, the Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) football team triumphed over the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC), by a tally of 50-0.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Weldon Chargers (Weldon, NC) in a Tar Roanoke 1A game, on Friday, October 4. Wilson Prep will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Chargers enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 34-20 league win over Northampton County (Gaston, NC).

The Vikings (1-4) will now prepare for their game against North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Warriors enter the Tar Roanoke 1A game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, North Edgecombe overwhelmed Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC), 42-6, in a league game.
