North Carolina High School Football - Williams tops Orange

September 26, 2024: Burlington, NC 27215

The Williams Bulldogs football squad scored 47 points and limited the visiting Orange Panthers to 23 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastern Alamance for a 3A Central test on Friday, October 4.

With the defeat, Orange drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC) to meet the Fighting Red Wolves in a 3A Central test on Friday, October 4. The Fighting Red Wolves come into the test with a record of 0-6. Cedar Ridge lost 55-0 in their recent league test against Southern Alamance (Graham, NC)

Congratulations to #33 Jayden Medley (overall), #1 Kingston Purefoy-farrington (offensive), #28 Deandre Brown (defensive) and #24 Will Cooper (special teams) for being selected the Orange Football Players of the Game.
