Nevada High School Football - Spring Creek triumphant over Sparks

September 26, 2024: Sparks, NV 89431

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) and the host Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), witnessed Spring Creek's football squad wallop Sparks by a count of 49-14.

The Spartans (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Vikings enter the 3A Northern contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, South Tahoe was routed by Fernley (Fernley, NV), 43-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Railroaders confront the Elko Indians (Elko, NV) in a 3A Northern contest, on Friday, October 4. Sparks will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Indians come into the outing with a 4-0 record after their 49-8 league win over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
