The Libertyville Wildcats football squad scored 16 points and limited the host Mundelein Mustangs to 8 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Waukegan for a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. Libertyville will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 44-0 league loss to Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Mundelein drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Warren Township (Gurnee, IL) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 4-1. Warren Township won 38-0 in their recent non-league test against Zion-Benton (Zion, IL)
