In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Belen Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes.
The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, West Mesa was beaten by Cibola (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Elks/Elkettes meet the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record.
