The Bishop Manogue Miners got by the visiting McQueen Lancers football team by a score of 38-34 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Miners face the Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Bishop Manogue will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 27-26 league win over Reno (Reno, NV).
The Lancers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas (Minden, NV). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Douglas was edged by Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV), 41-20, in a league challenge.
